First Feature: Stettyn Wines
Our inaugural feature takes us to the stunning Stettyn Wines, situated on a historic farm dating back to 1714, with a rich tradition rooted in its Cape Dutch homestead. This homestead, restored from 1777, now stands as a national monument. The Botha family has proudly owned the farm since 1818, spanning eight generations. Winemaking on the estate began in the late 1800s and was formally consolidated into Stettyn Cellar in 1963.
During my recent visit to Stettyn Wines, I was impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the staff, who made me feel right at home. Their dedication to creating an exceptional experience extends beyond the wines themselves. Enjoying a cup of their superb coffee while soaking in the serene vineyard views was a truly memorable experience. And of course, the wines were nothing short of exquisite.
